“I’ve been a patient of West Grove in Oak Creek for around 5 years, maybe longer. In the beginning I saw various providers for my psychiatry needs, but have been connected and consistently seeing Dr. Kurter for around 3 years now. Wow! He changed my life. I am so thankful to have him as a provider. When we met, he reassured me that there was help for what I was seeking help with and was able to connect me with medication that has made a drastic change in how I see the world. I struggled for years and years with my mental health, and what I appreciated about him was that he was so knowledgeable about what I was experiencing and could explain to me in a way that I could understand why I was experiencing certain things as well as how I could help myself and how to monitor myself in the future. He was also so helpful to me and my family when my husband and I decided to try for another baby. I think what’s kind of cool is Dr. Kurter knows me so well that he can tell when I’m struggling with my mental health or other needs based off of just a few minutes of talking. I’ve also been connected with my therapist Anna for 2-3 years now. She is amazing! She listens to me so well, and doesn’t push me too hard to get to deep into the things I need to address until I’m ready. She’s seen me at some low moments, and has taught me how to work through those times and always emphasizes taking care of myself. I also appreciate Elizabeth at the front desk. She knows me by my nick name, since I don’t generally go by my full name, and I seriously appreciate that because i don’t have to explain who I am over and over again, she just knows. Elizabeth always helps me schedule appointments out months at a time, which is super helpful for my scheduling needs. Honestly, Dr. Kurter and Anna are always super flexible in their scheduling as well, which is super helpful. Elizabeth also helps me figure out any insurance questions I have, which is so helpful because I can be kind of clueless about co pays and all that stuff. I also forgot to mention, I absolutely love that I can see my therapist through telehealth. I have a newborn and it’s just much easier to not have to travel with her when I have an appointment. I love West Grove so much and appreciate what they’ve done for my life so much that I’ve actually referred 2 other people for care here. I truly mean it when I say, if you’re looking for providers who care about you as a whole person, I definitely recommend going to West Grove.”

“I called the clinic to attempt to schedule a first time appointment, this person wasn’t available, so then the front desk lady was asking me some questions to schedule an appointment with someone else. Even tho I was answering her question about why I’m looking to schedule an appointment she responded “you didn’t answer my question so idk”. Then I told her what kind of Dr I wanted, and she said “that’s not what you need, you need someone else” respectfully, I’m telling you what I need, all I need is for you to schedule an appointment, who are you to tell me that’s not what I need? Front office lady also kept interrupting me and talking over me. Honestly she was wildly disrespectful. I have never had an experience like this from a medical “professional” facility. Please, find someone else to answer your calls, they’re supposed to be the “face” of the clinic and she couldn’t have done a worse job at making this location look horrible. I called at an attempt to reach out for help from a professional and instead I got taken aback, disrespected and dismissed.”

“Dr Kurter & his practice has saved my life!! As a former addict for more than 1/2 of my life, I’m finally able to say proudly that thanks to Dr Kurter I have finally broke free from that horrible life of misery & destruction & I’m beyond grateful for Dr Kurter. I have been a patient of his over 10+years & once I finally got serious about wanting to be clean for myself and my kids, I finally broke free and have been clean & sober for years & if not for Dr Kurter I know I can say with certainty that I would not be where I am today & would have died due to my addiction, as I used so much daily that I would plead with God to save me and not let me die because my heart rate would be dangerously high & then suddenly drop & I knew I was not in a good way & probably was going to die, I had almost weekly seizures due to OD’ing, I constantly had partial paralysis of my face similar to having a stroke, like mini strokes, as well as I had severe brain damage due to using so much that my tongue was stuck hanging out of my mouth while drooling & my eyes would be stuck staring at the ceiling & no matter how much I tried I couldn’t stop it & would be stuck like that for hours, I honestly never thought I’d recover from that without permanent brain damage or worse, but thanks to Dr Kurter’s help I finally started putting my whole heart into my recovery because I couldn’t live with the fact I was risking putting my kids through possibly being without a mother if I continued…I just want to say if you’re reading this today and truly want help & looking for recovery, please don’t debate it anymore & please just do it, not only for yourself but for your loved ones, because you deserve a better life and to be happy and you will never truly be happy if you continue your addiction, your life is too precious & too short to waste it being miserable in addiction…I seriously recommend Dr Sellahattin Kurter and his colleagues here at West Grove Clinic. Dr Kurter is a very kind and compassionate Doctor and truly cares about his patients and wants to help you get better because he doesn’t want you to suffer in silence, which so many of us do. Dr kurter not only helps with addiction but Mental Health issues & ADHD & ADD as well. In my 30+years of addiction & Mental Health issues I’ve never had a Doctor who I felt truly cared about my personal wellbeing & wants me to recover & puts my health & best interests in mind the way Dr Kurter & his Doctors here at West Grove do!!! If you’re serious about changing & getting help from your addiction &/or Mental Health you need Dr Kurter & the other Doctors here at West Grove!!
