“Some of the classes were great! The art therapy was amazing. Some of the staff was great. Juliana deserves a raise!! That girl handled some very difficult people over the weekend. Some of the aids were so kind and fun and helpful. Definitely some not so nice or invested staff. They did great with my food allergies. Overall was a helpful stay for mental health but a few employees that may need to be let go.”
“This place did absolutely nothing for me. I sat in an empty community room alone for days on end. Asked the workers where is everyone and they said "probably sleeping". After about 5 days I figured out they were in breakout sessions. None of the workers told me this whenI asked them. They provided worksheets to fill out which had no relevance to my case. The shower facilities were disgusting. Shared an awful room with cheap uncomfortable beds for $32,000. A shared phone for the entire floor with limited hours. This place is obviously ONLY in it for the money. Poor accommodations and a program that did not provide me with anything to address my depression, anxiety and psychosis. I left there in exactly the same condition as when I arrived except for the money I lost due to their exorbitant fees with no room. Don't waste your money.”
“Billing! Be very careful - if your therapist cancels - you will be billed for the session. I just noticed this in my EOB that Rogers is charging me for appointments my therapist cancelled. I also had a huge billing issue late last year… I was being charged for services before I was ever even a patient. I was able to get those charges rectified with time and effort. I don’t like that the bill does not itemize each session by date. I suggest making a spreadsheet to track your sessions so you can dispute any inaccurate fees. While my therapist was nice she cancelled twice in a 5 month period (we do virtual), we never really dove into ERP. I basically ran the sessions by venting away, during my last session I asked her to take the reins - She tried to our end our session 10 minutes early. Mind you she had cancelled the session prior - I totally get life happens but I pay for the hour. My sessions were becoming bi-weekly as she could not seem to coordinate weekly sessions with my schedule any longer. During my last appointment (that she tried to cut short) she mentioned weekly sessions needed to take place (this after I had told her a few sessions I am not doing well). She said she would see if she could move someone around the following week so this would not be another biweekly incident. Never heard from her - I called and cancelled my remaining session and am going to give NOCD a try. I tried but it’s just not a suitable fit. I want to be billed at the time of session, not let the bills pile up over weeks or months for one larger bill.”
“We were told this would be a great place. The providers and staff at first were great with communication and told the parents “what they wanted to hear”, only to have the exact opposite happen at the 10 day mark of treatment, we got a call around 8:30pm at night saying your child WILL be discharged tomorrow at which point we needed to tell them we could come on Saturday being how late at night we had time to contact our employer. During that phone call we made sure to ask that she would have medication coverage or be sent prescriptions which again we were told what we wanted to hear since no medication was sent to the pharmacy at home for her and then had to fight with her general psychiatrist doctor to try to get meds remotely close to what she had. After a few days of her being at Roger’s the communication went south also they would tell one parent something and tell the other something completely different, also refused to three way so we could all be on the same page going forward. Definitely DO NOT recommend this treatment for anyone.”
